The essentials
Where is the hotel?
1404 N Pacific Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. One block from Crescent Bay Beach, on North Pacific Coast Highway.
How far is the beach?
Crescent Bay Beach is one block away — about a three-minute walk. Beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and umbrellas are available to borrow at the front desk.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am. Early check-in is $50 and late check-out is $20 per hour, both subject to availability — we can often extend to 3:00pm if the room is not needed.
How do I get here?
John Wayne Airport is about eighteen minutes by car and LAX roughly an hour north. The Laguna Beach trolley stops nearby, and downtown is about a mile.
Costs
Is there a resort or amenity fee?
No. There is no resort fee and no amenity fee. Breakfast, parking, Wi-Fi, the pool and the beach kit are all included in the room rate.
What taxes are added?
Transient Occupancy Tax of 14.195%, charged on the room rate only, and shown before you confirm.
Is a deposit taken?
All reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card, and a $100 security deposit is held at check-in for incidentals, then released.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the rate you book. The terms are shown at booking and repeated in your confirmation. If you are unsure, call us and we will check.
Parking and pets
Is parking free?
Yes — but space is genuinely limited, so it is one vehicle per room, first come first served. We say that plainly rather than have you circling the block.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. $25 per night, up to two well-behaved dogs per room with a 40 lb combined limit. Dogs only, and they cannot be left alone in the room. Service animals are always welcome and exempt from the fee.
The hotel
Is breakfast included?
Yes — a complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 7:30am to 10:00am in the lobby.
What are the pool hours?
The heated outdoor pool is open daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm. There are complimentary popsicles in the lobby on the way past.
Which rooms have a balcony?
The King Room with Balcony and the Double King with Balcony. The room pages say which is which.
How many people can a room take?
King rooms take up to two guests. Double King rooms take up to four.
Do you have an accessible room?
Yes — the King Room ADA, a renovated accessible room with a king bed and the same equipment as our other king rooms.
Can I hold an event here?
Yes — the poolside space takes up to 35 guests. Tables, seating, music, decor, beverages and planning support are provided, and it suits birthdays, workshops, engagement parties and small offsites rather than large formal events.
Is there laundry?
Yes, guest laundry on site, available 24 hours.
